Bad luck v.s. Quality

My iMacG5 fxxked up again, this time is the power supply. It shutdown automatically in thursday night. A tech guy from AppleCare came this morning and felt disappointed with the poor quality of Apple hardware. Does it mean I have to sell my iMacG5 before warranty coverage expire ?!
