frustrate

I admitted that I am unhappy these days.

I didn't do the job well ...
1. People like pretty-looking things (are they lame ass or just lazy ? since we think there should be an more elegant solution)
2. Many many many many ... things I need to learn, Struts is one of the examples
3. Again, I am not in "form", play shit in last night football match although I can just treat it as an weekly exercise
4. DAMN! my right foot injury again !

meeting

I don't like meeting, especially such kind of meeting. People are not going to give suggestion but only criticize. "Limited Resources" is not an excuse, that's fine, but please don't expect a perfect and robust solution. Bosses look like escape from this meeting because, I don't know, may be they know this client is darn trouble. It's not hard to explain, during the meeting, the atmosphere is so tight and "one side". We are describing the design, people are keeps on seeking for "holes", nevermind, if your standing in a good attitude to solve the problem. However, I am sorry to tell you that I feel you are treating us as lame ducks and not going to give any useful opinion.

Maybe this is the real world, or I have to learn how to cope with this ...

The LCD is fixed

White line show in the left buttom of the screen, see?

The LCD of my iMacG5 showed a white line for several months already. Contacted Apple support the week before last week, and arranged for an on-site checking in two days after. Yesterday, the replacement LCD was arrived and arranged for an on-site hardware repair today.

Now, the white line is gone ! My lovely iMac is back to what it should be !

LPI (con't)

After 3+ weeks, I finally received the result from LPI.

... you have the necessary pre-requisite to take the Level 2 exams.

Experiences with Tiger

Somebody asked me how the Tiger looks like, any good features, etc. Today, let me express some of my opinions after using it for 5 days.

1. Some applications are not compatible or some glitches with Tiger.
2. The Konfabulator now looks useless (at least for me), since Dashboard can do most of the jobs.
3. Compare to Panther, Tiger runs faster.
4. iSync 2.0 still cannot handle non-Unicode Asian Characters, and I finally spent USD$12 to get the "Palm Encoding Setup".

Finally, TUAW posted a *wonderful* feature in Safari 2.0 (which comes with Tiger)
